Insight Resort Ahangama - S&S Other Certified

Great location with beach views and only short stroll into town. Staff were exceptional, we were always greeted with a hello and smile whenever we passed them. Breakfast was great with a freshly cooked egg chef who cooked the most delicious omelets, he always had a big smile on his face and took pride in his craft. They also have 2x wheelchair accessible rooms available and ramps to all areas of the resort which is a standout feature. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Every thing Location near surf pick and Ahangama which is growing by numbers each season I come with more cool places to hangout and shops and fun.. Staff has been nothing but perfect for the past 4 years that I visit. So helpful and the kids loved them!! My boy and the pool guy are friends! He felt like home. Each time I comes it's home to me. Surfboard is there I just wake up and head to the session. Then out for breakfast with the kids then some pool then some action. Many places around to see like tea factory, turtle farm and releasing baby turtles to ocean. Then Galla is close by with all the shops and stuff to. Lake kogalla is 10 minutes away, unawatuna welligama and mirrisa are all up to 20 minutes around and tuktuk is always waiting out side. And stuff can always book you taxi if you travel longer or just want to go all the family together in 1 car. Them tons of places to eat: The hotel, Citra, Catus, le cafe, cylon slides and many more. Hotel food is ok - I always choose the local food option. Btw for No Gluten pizza and pasta go to the Marriot buffet they can make one but even so my daughter started to each more fish and vegs in this trip because her gluten free options where limited. Insight is home away from home guys. Just perfect

Starting from the security at the front gate, everyone is very welcoming. The vibe is incredibly comfortable. The location is stunning and attracts surfers. For travelers, it's convenient to cover all areas from Galle to Matara from here. Though I'm not a surfer, watching them from the window of my room was so much fun. Even during crowded times, there was no rush. The staff is well-organized and very friendly. The breakfast buffet has few options, but there's nothing to complain about; every item is delicious. Moreover, the dinner and other menu items are very good. The taste is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. The pool is never crowded.

The people!! I was literally treated like a queen, nothing was too much trouble, the staff went above and beyond!! Room (delux sea view) was stunning with picture windows. Lovely pool and direct access to beach. Short stroll to shops on Main Street. Food was exceptional, had half board and dinners were amazing as was the breakfast buffet. Dinners accompanied by local musicians. Perfect stay!

The Insight resort was a great location to spend 5 days in Ahangama, the location is great with the hotel actially being beach front with a nice beach, great pool. The staff were very friendly and soo helpful, they looked after our little toddler like he was their own, giving him such a great time, and us a bit of a break. The breakfast was delicious and varied. Wifi was a bit poor, but an easy fix if they get a fiber connection.
